Enhancing the Future of Aging
This project is a cornerstone of the Service Design & Design Thinking postgraduate program at Shifta by Elisava.
Our challenge was to create a comprehensive and forward-thinking solution that anticipates the evolving needs of the elderly, with the goal of significantly improving their quality of life.

Design Challenge
By the year 2040, it is projected that the percentage of people aged 60 and will continue to increase, representing approximately 25% or more of the global population. This global demographic trend urges us to rethink and revitalize our approach to design and innovation to adapt to an aging population. While we face significant challenges, opportunities also arise for the creation of more inclusive and equitable products and services. By tackling these challenges with creativity and collaboration, we can forge a fairer and more rewarding future for all ages.

Approach
For the development of this project we followed the Design Thinking and System Thinking methodologies.
Working closely with a dedicated team and under professional guidance, we embarked on this project by deeply exploring market trends through a STEEM lens. Following an extensive qualitative and quantitative research process, we gained critical insights into where and how to direct our efforts for maximum impact. Through collaborative co-creation sessions, we mapped out an innovative well-being service solution that not only meets but exceeds our users' needs.

Vida Activa Club Social is a service solution designed to improve elderly's health and happiness.
